What is Agentic Process Intelligence?

Agentic Process Intelligence describes the use of autonomous AI agents that work continuously on an organization’s process model and process data, rather than only responding to individual user queries. The agents monitor metrics, form and test hypotheses, detect deviations, and report results back proactively. This shifts Process Intelligence from analysis on demand to continuous, always-on observation.

Why does this matter?

Classic process analysis is bound to human attention: whatever nobody queries stays undiscovered. Agentic approaches scale observation across all processes and substantially shorten the time between a problem arising and being noticed.
